PROVIDING AN ACADEMIC LEARNING ENVIRONMENT SPECIFICALLY FOR BOYS
School of the Arts for Boys Academy (SABA) opened our doors on August 14, 2023, serving boys in grades 3-to-6 from our facility in Pittsboro. We've recently reclassified as an NC-Registered Private School, and have expanded our mission of service. Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, SABA will serve boys in grades K-to-8.
SABA is founded with the conviction that our educational systems must do a better job of teaching our boys to become positive adult contributors to our society. Particularly in these challenging times, young boys are falling behind academically, because our schools are unable to address their unique learning qualities in their formative years.

SABA is well-researched and specifically built to meet young boys' needs. Our academic focus and our emphasis on all types of arts, coupled with physical activity and extracurricular programming will help prepare our students to achieve their full potential in life.

If you have a son who will flourish in this environment we invite you to join us on this journey, by applying today.
As a result of the expansion of the Opportunity Scholarship Program in North Carolina in the 2024-25 school year, attendance at SABA is tuition-free for many students. The amount of scholarship a student receives is based on household income and time of application.
At SABA, the scholarship amount families qualify for, is often equal to or greater than the tuition fee at our school. Accordingly, only families with high household incomes, or those who apply late in the admissions season are likely to pay for a portion of their enrollment.
IMPORTANT: The application period for the Opportunity Scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year has closed.
